INSTALLATION
 

The platform comes standard with two bases of different auditory effect.

1.- The bases of maximum absorption (4 black discs). They are damping. In principle, this base is suitable for heavy turntable and semi-rigid suspension, and the lower structural resonance point. They should put these black bases (buffer).

 2.- The bases are made of special polyamide (4 blank discs). They work as dielectrics acoustic energy dissipation. They are not absorbent. In principle this base is recommended for turntables with "platter" floating suspension. The absorption coefficient of the record player in this technology is high and, therefore, recommended that the bases are white (non-absorbent).

However, it is advisable to do hearing tests with the two bases, which dominate the low notes, always avoiding the weighting in the absorption coefficient (too low), then depending on the conditioning of the room the hearing result will be better with either base.

The test results should give an improvement in bass control and transparency of the pass band.
