This idyllic natural park, ideal for walking, was discovered as a place of relaxation by the French, who still love this little known paradise. Lovers of the white-knuckle sport of canyoning are also familiar with the area and come from all over Europe to experience the thrill of descending the parks many spectacular canyons. For the slightly less adventurous, there are endless spots for walking and getting close to nature in its purest form. There are many routes through the park, here we highlight just a couple:
1. San Martín de Alcanadre chapel. (An easy and pleasant route)
2. The Mascún canyon in Rodellar (The suggested route takes a whole day but it is possible to make it shorter by turning back at any point.)
To get far away for the madding crowd and be close to these and other routes, we recommend an overnight stay in Almunias de Rodellar. There are two alternatives:
The hostel run by Montse and Francisco, a young couple who left the rat race in Barcleona ten years ago and chose to live in this idyllic spot.
Rooms with bathroom can sleep up to 4 people are both pleasant and affordable. Children will no doubt fight for the top bunk! In addition, Montse makes ceramics and her husband is a canyoning guide.

Casa Tejador apartments. Mari Carmen and Lorenzo are local people who, like many other people in the area, opted to work in the tourism sector many years ago. The apartments are new, roomy and well equipped. Luxury at an affordable price.
